The mission of the MLT program is to produce knowledgeable, competent, compassionate, professional Medical Laboratory Technicians. As your instructor, I will ensure that MLT students are exposed to unique and dynamic experiences in order to develop entry-level knowledge and skills.
This program equips students with an in-depth understanding of laboratory concepts, theories, and applications. From the collection and processing of patient samples to the secure management and analysis of these critical specimens, you will acquire vital skills to aid nurses and physicians in disease detection, diagnosis, and treatment. With a combination of classroom instruction, laboratory training and clinical practice, students are trained in the areas of phlebotomy, chemistry, hematology, blood banking, and more. Becoming a Medical Laboratory Technician is more than just a job—it's a career that combines your passion for science with the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care.
